Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director for Aerospace Connectivity Solutions to lead our sales initiatives in the Business Aviation and Head of State spanets in the Middle East, Africa and India region. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong demonstrated background in airborne connectivity solutions and a proven ability to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction. The connectivity portfolio encompasses satellite communications for cabin Wi-Fi, on-board networks, cockpit datalink and safety services. The Sales Director will be responsible for developing sales strategies, building client relationships, creating winning propositions, and achieving sales targets. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, industry and technical expertise, and sales acumen.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Develop and Implement Sales Plans: Create and execute a robust sales strategy to grow the connectivity solutions business in the Business Aviation and Head of State spanets.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including aircraft operators, management companies, channel partners, and governmental agencies. Proactively manage key accounts to ensure flawless delivery of service and client satisfaction.
Consultative Sales: Apply deep knowledge of connectivity solutions to create compelling solutions and proposals to meet and exceed client requirements.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with customer account and support teams and regional leadership to develop and execute growth strategies. Provide spanet intelligence and client feedback to offering management teams to drive product strategies.
Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiation efforts with clients to secure win-win solutions.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Grow and manage sales pipeline within the CRM system.
Brand Ambassador: Represent Honeywell Aerospace at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and promote Honeywell connectivity solutions.
Qualifications

Deep understanding of airborne connectivity solutions, including satellite communications services and hardware.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading sales, preferably in connectivity solutions in the aviation spanet.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret spanet trends and customer requirements are essential for success in this role.
