How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The DMS Sr. Coordinator – Repairs is a full time position that will be responsible for the repair and sourcing of airframe and engine parts for DMS. The position reports to the Director –Repairs and Sourcing. Scope of responsibilities includes; managing relationships with repair vendors, tracking overall vendor performance, leveraging spend across the Delta Air Lines Company and gathering repair & overhaul price estimates on brokered and large package quotes for the commercial team. This position requires the ability to work in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is analytical with experience in financial analysis. Primary FunctionsGather spanet intelligence on inventory and repair pricing; ensuring data is captured within the DMS CRM system.Support the commercial organization for brokered purchases / sales and RFQ quote activityNegotiate pricing on repairs / refurbishment of airframe and engine parts with third party providers of maintenance repair and overhaul services. Deliver cost saving solutions to the overall value chain in an effort to reduce CASM for Delta Airlines. Ensure collaboration and leveraging of repair and sourcing strategy with Delta Air Lines Supply Chain Management organizationMaintain relationships with third party providers of maintenance repair and overhaul servicesTrack vendor performance and advance opportunities to secure preferred pricing, turn-time and volume rebatesIdentify and participate in process improvement opportunities related to repair programs and processesEnsure vendor contracts are adhered to and proper metrics/scorecarding are implemented in order to measure vendor performance
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Minimum three to five years of experience in a material supply chain discipline such as procurement, repairs, pricing or related fieldsDemonstrated success in problem solving, analytical skills and data analysisProficient in use of SAP, MS Office, Excel (V-lookups & Pivot tables) Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills required. Must demonstrate the organization’s values of integrity, respect and perseverance. Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
