Our client, an SME leading independent MRO and afterspanet provider specialising in the repair of aircraft galley equipment and cabin interior products, based in Southeast England, are currently recruiting for:
Compliance Monitoring Manager
To manage the quality functions, approvals, and system, ensure that safety standards are maintained, responsible for facilities, management of the building.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of UK CAA & EASA 145, and FAR 145, approvals which includes the following:
- Hosting external audits from customers and regulatory bodies.
- Form 4 Holder for UK CAA Part 145 Maintenance Repair Organisation (MRO)
- Ensuring that internal and supplier audits are completed to the audit schedule and as required.
- Oversight of the Library function and ensuring that manuals are controlled and are up to date.
- To lead product and system failure investigations and provide appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Documenting processes, procedures, local instructions, and forms for the company with direct process ownership of the following.
- Responsible for, overall performance and workflow for quality, in line with regulatory compliance, quality and standard company operating procedures.
- To ensure employees have the appropriate mandatory training for their role.
- Overall responsibility for the facilities management.
- Updating/re-writing the MOE as and when required, submitting to authorities for approval.
Experience – essential
Experience working in UK CAA / EASA 145 maintenance organisation and understanding of the regulations
- Form 4 Holder for UK CAA Part 145 Maintenance Repair Organisation (MRO)
- Basic understanding of engineering principles
- Sound knowledge of the concepts and principles of quality,
- Understanding of policies and procedures; proven ability to communicate and lead and successfully deliver improvement initiatives.
- Auditing Internal/External
Desirable
- AS9120/AS9110 experience preferable (ISO 9001 Minimum)
- Understanding of Safety Management Systems (SMS) and implementation.
