Role Summary
The Cobrand Program Manager is a subject matter expert for assigned products within Mileage Plan’s multi-billion-dollar portfolio of cobrand cards. As an individual contributor, this role is responsible for optimizing and growing Alaska Airline’s cobrand offering.
Key Duties
Serves as a subject matter expert on Alaska’s credit card positioning in a shifting competitive landscape and understands and effectively communicates where, why, and how Alaska is positioned to win.
Supports defined long-term strategy for the development of program features and enhancements including regular development and delivery of senior executive briefings in a manner that builds trust and drives strategic alignment.
Analyzes and makes recommendations to optimize financial performance of the program. Ensures reporting dashboards accurately distill key insights with clear reporting.
Recommends targeting and testing strategies to continually improve and optimize partnership performance.
Augments industry datasets with Alaska- and Bank-proprietary information to develop novel ways of evaluating new and existing credit card opportunities. Networks cross-functionally to build new datasets from internal and external sources including primary and secondary market research.
Advocates for improvements in delivery of credit card program benefits with the aim of delivering a seamless guest experience.
Collaborates cross-functionally and with external partners to recommend and develop marketing strategies that align with strategic program objectives, including card acquisition, engagement and spend.
Recommends targeting and testing strategies to continually improve and optimize program spend.
Collaborates with customer insights, UX, guest experience, operational, and technology teams to measure understanding and usage of member benefits and overall satisfaction with Alaska’s credit card programs.
Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills
Required
4 years of experience in loyalty, marketing, strategy, finance, business development or related area.
Bachelor’s degree, or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.
Advanced analytical background with proven ability to navigate complex datasets.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum age of 18.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred
Airline industry experience.
Experience developing strategic plans.
Robust knowledge of loyalty programs, cobrand credit cards and/or partnership structures.
Passion for loyalty programs, aviation, guest experience and platform development.
Experience using Excel, Alteryx and/or Tableau.
Strong communication skills (e.g., verbal, written, and listening) with an ability to communicate clearly and concisely to both internal and external constituencies.
Detail oriented and highly organized, with ability to multi-task and work independently

Salary Range
$95,000 -- $142,600 / year
Salary Details
Pay will be based on multiple factors, including and not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal equity relative to other Alaska/Horizon employees. Alaska/Horizon is committed to fair, unbiased compensation along with competitive benefits in all locations in which we operate.
Note: We don’t typically hire at the top of the range.
