ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for promoting SITA’s for Aircraft services. The position is based in Brazil to support the South and Central America region. You will work on Business Development, Relationship Management and providing sales solutions.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Drive commercial growth of SITA airlines solutions by identifying and developing key prospects within the assigned territory. This is a commercial role, but preference will be given to technical background, while commercial support will be provided by existing business development managers in the team.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues from Product, Marketing and Engineering on promoting SITA For Aircraft services to both existing and new customers
- Act as a subject matter expert in customer engagements
- Lead and coordinate sales efforts including presentations, demos, trials, and proposal development.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and local partners at key industry events
- Keep informed of competitors, regional developments and industry trends
- Coordinate responses to RFPs and other formal customer procurement processes as needed.
- Provide customer insights and spanet feedback to Product Teams to influence roadmap and refinement of the solution’s value proposition
- Report regularly on sales activities and pipeline progress to internal stakeholders.
- Identifying customer needs/drivers and providing feedback about requirements, issues and challenges to drive the spanet
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree required, Masters degree/MBA preferred
- 7+ years relevant experience working within an airline, or relevant work experience
- 5+ years proven success in generating revenue growth in a sales and/or business development role
- Portuguese and Spanish mandatory and good proficiency in English
- Available for traveling in the region for 50 or more of the time
- Commercially minded, driven by results
- Experience of interfacing directly with senior levels of management internally and externally
- Sales and Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to identify, pursue, and close business deals.
- Communication and Presentation Skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a variety of audiences.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts.
