Description
Monitor and report daily progress on newly acquired PMA Component Manufacturing Process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set engineering priorities for staff assignments as directed by the Engine Shop Manager.
- Oversee the development of manufacturing data for components manufactured within the scope of existing published data.
- Develop and maintain sound personnel relations, employee safety awareness, and open communication within the department.
- Any other duties assigned by the Shop Managers.
- Some travel required
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Aircraft Component Manufacturing Industry (A&P License/QC experience preferred).
- Experience in reading and understanding Airworthiness Directives (AD) and Service Bulletins (SB) to determine:
o Required materials (parts & tooling)
o Required number of persons, skill set, and task hours to accomplish the task
- Working knowledge of corporate aircraft systems and structures (Learjet, Hawker, Bombardier Series Aircraft).
- Working knowledge of extensive aircraft manuals (i.e., IPC, CRM).
- Computer experience with Adobe, Aviation Data Bases, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- PC computing programming and/or software development skills
- Blueprints, wire diagrams, and other previously documented manufacturing drawings.
LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- Read, write, and understand the English language.
- Create and update routine reports and correspondence in Microsoft Word & Excel formats.
- Create logical/coherent/grammatical messages using Microsoft Outlook to communicate ideas, thoughts, and instructions that can be understood by large variable groups (i.e., Operations, Maintenance, QC, Stores, etc.).
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Convert between different units of measure.
- Compute rate, ratio, and percentage.

Pay will coincide with experience
