Regional Supply chain (GSD) is seeking an Associate Director to lead & execute Collins supplier strategy & engagement to deliver business specific supply chain goals.

Job responsibilities:
The role of GSD Organization is to get regional suppliers achieve the production readiness & of service to Collins SBU sites.
As a supply chain Operations , we are responsible for ensuring that our supplier are capable , performing and stay healthy. We break down barriers & create opportunities in the diverse world of commodity & complexity of products by fostering ownership and empowering a multi-dimensional team to build resilient supply chain.
We support our suppliers during the initial build phase that includes aero-space specific QMS design, capacity planning, supply chain transition & monitoring that leads to flexible & scalable supplier operations. We see the big picture and help create and enforce operations standards while facilitating an agile and learning culture.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have experience in many of these areas:.
Engineering Degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain related subject (Supply Chain Management, Business economics, Operations, or related field).
Dedicated leader, creating accountability across his/her team and partners, inspirational and bringing energy to interactions.
Able to ‘zoom in and zoom out’, quickly shifting between the strategic and the tactical.
Strong communication skills, particularly summarizing complex detail into executive summaries for leadership.
Appetite for change and pushing the boundaries of what can be done by a global supplier base.
Be curious about new opportunities and practices to scale our India supply chain existing base and prepare for future growth.
Willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities and to work as a member of matrix based diverse and geographically distributed project team.
Ability to balance doing things right with fixing things quickly. Flexible and pragmatic, while working with multi-cultural and diverse team.
