Job Description

As a Structures Technician, you will play a vital role in our production line, focusing on the assembly of satellite systems. You will be responsible for performing manual labor and assembling parts with precision and care.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a production team to efficiently assemble parts.
• Sort and organize materials or items on tables, racks, or bins.
• Manually assemble satellite sub-assembly parts with attention to detail.
• Utilize various hand tools, measuring, and test equipment to ensure quality.
• Clean assembled parts and securely place them in protective bags or boxes.
• Pack, seal, and relocate boxes to designated areas.
• Pick up, move, and sort small parts with accuracy.
• Use small tools and jigs to manipulate parts for precise assembly.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned by management.

• Proficiency in assembly and blueprint reading.
• Experience in wiring and structure tasks.
• Competence in sheet metal repair and assembly.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Eligibility to work in the US (Permanent Resident Card Holder, or Non-Citizen allowed to work for any employer).
• Associates degree or certificate in a technical area is preferred.
• Prior experience in assembly or manufacturing is advantageous.
• High aptitude for working with small electronics, including soldering small electrical components or mechanical equipment.
• Experience in the space or aeronautical field is beneficial.

This role is based in a clean room environment, requiring adherence to strict dress code protocols, including wearing smocks, hair nets, beard nets, and shoe covers.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
