The Aircraft Structures Mechanic performs structural repairs, modifications, and fabrication on aircraft airframes and structural components. This position supports aircraft maintenance operations by completing structural inspections, repairs, and documentation in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company procedures.

* $30.00 – $35.00/hour Education & Job Requirements
* Minimum 3-5 years of aircraft structures or sheet metal repair experience
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* Experience performing aircraft structural repairs and modifications
* Ability to read and interpret aircraft blueprints, engineering drawings, and structural repair manuals
* Experience with aircraft sheet metal fabrication and installation techniques
* Knowledge of aircraft fasteners, structural hardware, and repair procedures
* Familiarity with FAA regulations and aviation maintenance practices
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
* A&P License preferred but not required Job Duties & Functions
* Perform structural repairs and modifications on aircraft airframes and structural components
* Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures, including fuselage sections, wings, skins, panels, bulkheads, spars, and control surfaces
* Read and interpret structural repair manuals, engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical publications
* Fabricate, repair, and install sheet metal and structural components using approved aircraft repair procedures
* Remove and install rivets, fasteners, and close-tolerance hardware
* Perform drilling, cutting, forming, fitting, and riveting operations to required tolerances
* Inspect aircraft structures for corrosion, cracks, fatigue, and other structural damage
* Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, drills, grinders, rivet guns, brakes, and shears
* Perform corrosion removal, sealing, and structural surface preparation
* Ensure all work is completed in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company procedures
* Document maintenance and structural repair activities accurately
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Physical Requirements & Environment
* Lift up to 50 pounds
* Stand, bend, kneel, crawl, and work in confined spaces for extended periods
* Work on maintenance stands, ladders, and elevated platforms
* Work around aircraft noise, chemicals, fumes, and maintenance equipment
* Work overtime, weekends, or flexible shifts as required
