Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform sheet metal structural tasks such as removing, repairing or replacing floor beams, longerons,
bulkheads, stringers, frames, chords and any other primary structural parts.
Locate and span dimensions, layout patterns, and templates and fabricate parts, repair or replace skin and stiffeners, stringers, frames, brackets, fairings, and retaining strips, floor beams, extrusions and seat tracks.
Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures
Requirements Previous Commercial MRO experience - Highly skilled
Experience with SRM repair
Ability to complete skin repair and skin replacements
Experience with floor beam repairs, frame repairs, stringer repairs, seat track repairs, etc.
Not looking for Assembly experience
Experience on 737/767/Airbus
A&P license not required for this position but it would be a plus.
Must have the minimum tools as required
Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
Must be willing to work any shift.
Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Must be able to accomplish any and all repairs, modifications, E.A.s, etc, with very little to no assistance.
Must be able to use the FAA approved data proficiently (i.e., IPC, M/M, OHM, SRM.)
Knowledge of design techniques, principles, tools and instruments involved in the production and use of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
Miscellaneous &x2022;&x9;Has intermediate knowledge of all areas of the aircraft and assigned work area. &x2022;&x9;Repair, modify, replace or otherwise perform routine aircraft maintenance work in specialized area of aircraft. &x2022;&x9;Develop repair schemes utilizing SRM or Engineering data &x2022;&x9;Communicate effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels by keeping co-workers and leadership apprised of work progress and difficulties as they arise. &x2022;&x9;Complete job assignments in a timely manner. &x2022;&x9;Complete on-the-job-training (OJT) forms and required reading. &x2022;&x9;Read and interpret manufacturer and airline maintenance manuals, service bulletins, drawings and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair, replacement or modification. &x2022;&x9;Conduct operational tests. &x2022;&x9;Help with general clean-up of work area. &x2022;&x9;Responsible for accurately clocking to jobs. &x2022;&x9;Regular and prompt attendance. &x2022;&x9;Effective and appropriate conduct with co-workers. &x2022;&x9;Perform other duties as assigned.
