Job Title: Sheet Metal MechanicJob DescriptionAs a Sheet Metal Mechanic, you will perform heavy maintenance checks on skins for Q400 and ATR 172 aircraft. Your expertise in structural maintenance, repair, and modification will be essential in ensuring the safety and functionality of these aircraft.
Responsibilities- Conduct heavy maintenance checks on aircraft skins for Q400 and ATR 172s.
- Troubleshoot and repair structural issues.
- Perform aircraft modification and installation tasks.
- Apply expertise in repair and maintenance to ensure aircraft safety and reliability.
Essential Skills- 5+ years of structural MRO experience.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, aircraft maintenance, repair, heavy maintenance, installation, and modification.
- Experience with DHC 300 Endorsement.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with DHC 800 and/or ATRs is advantageous.
- Possession of an S License is a plus.
- Experience in aircraft modification, repair, and installation.
Why Work Here?This is a long-term contract opportunity that offers the benefit of paid flights in and out, as well as paid accommodations. Additionally, you will receive a per diem of $65.00 per day and paid mileage if driving.
Work EnvironmentWork in a hangar shop floor environment at YEG airport. This is a team-based operation where collaboration is key. You can choose to work any day from Monday to Saturday, with flexible hours between 7am and 7pm, for 8-10 hours a day.
