Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Set up and operate heat-treating furnaces and age hardening ovens
Record furnace times to ensure correct metal treatment
Follow safety guidelines, policies, and procedures
Work independently with minimal supervision
Requirements:
3+ years mechanical experience, including sheet metal work (auto body or boat repair)
Ability to read and work from blueprints and engineering prints
Proficient with hand tools and measuring instruments (calipers, protractors, tape measure, high gauge, scale ruler)
Skilled in sheet metal forming: bending, stretching, shrinking (using tools and dies), punching, and air grinder use
Basic computer skills
Heat Treat Experience
Cell 15 Experience
Ability to work in hot/cold environments
Able to lift 20+ pounds and stand for long periods
Experience with band saw, chop saw, table saw, drill press, hand drill, hand router, roll form machine
Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills
Strong problem-solving abilities
Mechanically inclined
Comfortable working in varying temperatures
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
