Report ToAssistant Manager, Maintenance Control Center
Role Purpose- To assist Assistant Manager MCC in ensuring the department is supported with all relevant information, resources and skills to be effective in operations, maintenance, technical and planning control.
- To involve and collaborate in decision making meetings from both internal and external parties by adopting shared system Operation Control.
- To be the representative of MCC/Airline Engineering in Operations Review Meeting (ORM).
- To facilitate and coordinate all mandated audits and responsible to address all relevant outcomes effectively.
- To facilitate MCC induction/briefings to ensure staffs are competent to deliver effective maintenance performance in MCC.
Key Accountability- Responsible to upkeep all Technical and Non-Technical Delay code and reason justification for Operations Review Meeting (ORM) and to follow up with corrective actions to improve OTP.
- Fostering and maintaining wide range of productive working relationship within the company, audit authorities, all relevant departments (both internal and external).
- Support the identification, assessment, prioritization and management of emerging issues related to operations, technical and planning in MCC.
- Ensure all MCC staffs are competent as per approved exposition.
Qualification & Working Experience- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Management, or related discipline with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Engineering & Maintenance; or
- Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of 1 year experience in Engineering & Maintenance.
Skill & Knowledge- Solid understanding of CAAM Part M and Part 145 requirements, particularly in Engineering & Maintenance Operations, Planning, and Processes.
- Proficient in defect and disruption management, with the ability to coach and mentor team members for continuous process and performance improvement.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to perform under pressure.
- Familiarity with operational systems including CAE MM (Movement Manager), AMOS, AIRCOM, Airbus Skywise Health Monitoring, Boeing Airplane Health Monitoring, or any other Engineering & Maintenance platforms.
- Good organizational, analytical and communication skills and able to lead with great leadership quality.
- Basic investigation skills during delay review/investigations.
Key Challanges- Maintaining a neutral standpoint in dealing with delay discussions, especially when it involves Human Factor aspects.
- Protect Engineering OTP to meet KPI target.
- Able to understand manuals outside of Engineering environment when doing delay event investigations.
