We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Blade Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of helicopter blades, ensuring high-quality standards are met in all tasks performed.

Responsibilities

• Repair helicopter blades as per specifications.
• Read and interpret prints and schematics accurately.
• Complete sanding, cleaning, and blade-specific maintenance tasks.
• Properly record all work performed on appropriate maintenance records.
• Manage shipping and receiving tasks related to blade maintenance.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency in mechanical repairs and use of hand tools.
• Experience in production and quality control.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• 2-year technical degree desired.
• Interest, experience, and training in aviation preferred.
• Drafting and blueprint interpretation skills are an advantage.
• Reliable attendance is required.
• Self-starter with a willingness to learn.
• Comfortable using various tools and equipment.

Work Environment

The position is based in a helicopter blade repair facility. You will be working with advanced tools and equipment in a well-structured environment. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work on your feet for extended periods.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Broussard, Louisiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
