Job Title: Blade Technician
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Blade Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of helicopter blades, ensuring high-quality standards are met in all tasks performed.
Responsibilities
- Repair helicopter blades as per specifications.
- Read and interpret prints and schematics accurately.
- Complete sanding, cleaning, and blade-specific maintenance tasks.
- Properly record all work performed on appropriate maintenance records.
- Manage shipping and receiving tasks related to blade maintenance.
Essential Skills- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Proficiency in mechanical repairs and use of hand tools.
- Experience in production and quality control.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- 2-year technical degree desired.
- Interest, experience, and training in aviation preferred.
- Drafting and blueprint interpretation skills are an advantage.
- Reliable attendance is required.
- Self-starter with a willingness to learn.
- Comfortable using various tools and equipment.

Work Environment
The position is based in a helicopter blade repair facility. You will be working with advanced tools and equipment in a well-structured environment. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Broussard, Louisiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
