Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Repair Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of aircraft component repair and overhaul operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation maintenance, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of regulatory compliance and vendor management. This position plays a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance for all repair activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the component repair and overhaul process.
  • Quote customers on material and manager order throughout the process.
  • Manage relationships with third-party repair vendors and OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers).
  • Evaluate and approve repair quotes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Monitor repair turn times and performance, ensuring timely return of components to support aircraft operations.
  • Ensure adherence to FAA, EASA, and other regulatory agency requirements in all repair activities.
  • Maintain and update component tracking systems and databases.
  • Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and logistics teams to support operational readiness.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions on repeat repairs or quality issues.
  • Develop and implement repair strategies that align with company cost and availability goals.
  • Provide regular reports on repair status, cost metrics, and vendor performance to senior management.
  • Support audits and regulatory inspections as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in aviation industry.
  • Knowledge of aviation component repair processes and industry standards.
  • Understanding of FAA, EASA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Excellent Computer Skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
