Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to conduct visual, physical, and dimensional inspections of machined parts. This role involves both in-process and final inspections, ensuring all products meet project specifications and requirements. The inspector will also handle incoming inspections, document non-conformances, and work within our Quality Management system.
Responsibilities
- Conduct visual, physical, and dimensional inspections (both in-process and final) of machined parts per project specifications and requirements.
- Perform incoming inspections from external providers of products and services.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections of critical features, including witness inspections.
- Compile final inspection sign-off sheets and inspection packages.
- Verify that inspection equipment is capable of detecting defects and ensure inspection methodology is in line with drawing intent.
- Review and validate the justification for parts not inspected at final inspection.
- Audit and validate the execution of inspection plans as applicable.
- Document non-conformances using approved methods and submit non-conformance reports for customer disposition.
- Work within the Quality Management system and undergo basic training on policies and procedures.
- Document inspection results in our record retention system.
Essential Skills- Previous mechanical inspection experience.
- Experience with AS9102 (FAI).
- Experience with Certification of Conformance.
- Knowledge of GD&T and inspection methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow inspection plans and protocols.
- Experience with the use of precision measurement tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and/or engineering drawings.
- Ability to work effectively within a quality management system.
- Fluency in English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Certified or previously certified in GD&T ASME Y-14.5.

Work Environment
The role is based in a climate-controlled distribution center. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
