SUMMARY
Work on all minor through major repairs, modifications, E.A.s, etc. Monitor and accurately complete all aircraft paperwork to ensure safety and timely delivery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
High proficiency in all minor through major repairs, modifications, E.A.s, etc. Establish work priorities and supervise the work of up to 15 mechanics. Effectively interact with customer representatives. Highly proficient in locating/reading/interpreting technical data and drawings to locate parts/materials/fasteners/installation requirements to accomplish fabrication and repairs. Must possess/display expertise and ability to perform advanced sheetmetal techniques (i.e. large scale damage removal, major structural member removal/installation, aircraft shoring, cold working). Ensure work performed adheres to high quality standards. Effectively direct the work of less experienced mechanics. Able to understand and adhere to the company’s safety policies and procedures. All other duties as assigned.
