Job Title: Interiors MechanicJob Description
As an Interiors Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in repairing and maintaining aircraft interiors, including seating and monuments such as galleys, lavatories, and class dividers. Your expertise will ensure that all components meet company, customer, and FAA standards.
Pay:
- $18 - $24 / hr pending experience
Responsibilities- Repair aircraft seating, including passenger and crew seats.
- Repair interior monuments such as galleys, lavatories, and class dividers.
- Repair overhead bins and side walls.
- Disassemble components to determine malfunctions and make necessary repairs.
- Read inspection reports and work with blueprints to determine repair types, required tools, and plan sequence of operations.
- Read and accurately follow schematics.
- Fabricate sheet metal according to drawings.
- Perform composite and laminate repairs.
- Reassemble components to meet company, customer, and FAA standards.
Essential Skills- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints.
- Experience with mechanical tasks and using hand tools.
- Ability to use power tools and finishing tools effectively.
- Knowledge of aircraft interiors and aviation practices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience in sheet metal fabrication.
- Experience with composite and laminate repairs.
Work EnvironmentYou will work in a dynamic environment requiring precision and attention to detail. The role involves hands-on tasks using various tools and equipment, adhering to high safety and quality standards. The work schedule may include shifts to meet operational demands.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of valencia, California.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
