Functions/Responsibilities:

Kalitta Turbines has been in the business of maintaining, servicing and repairing TFE731 and CF34, Our experienced team is dedicated to providing the highest quality of service to our customers.

Responsibilities consist of and include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Disassemble, clean, inspect engine parts I.A.W. Manufacturers Manuals.
• Be proficient in reading OEM Manuals and precision measuring tools.
• Perform repair processes to TFE731 and CF34 engine components.
• Able to fill out inspection paperwork - route parts for TFE731 and CF34 engines to go back into service including recoat, strip, NDT, and balance.
• Have legible handwriting.
• Some computer knowledge needed.
• Must be able to multi-task, respect / maintain confidentiality, be service oriented, be trustworthy / ethical, and be sensitive/respectful of diverse populations/cultures. Must work at a fast pace and handle stress and problematic issues well with a good attitude.
• Perform a receiving inspection for new and continued service parts to ensure serviceability, including but not limited to verifying certification from the manufacturer or overhaul facility, and inspecting for shipping damage.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable FAA regulations
• Ensure proper rework of discrepancies by inspecting and evaluating work performed by shop mechanics/technicians.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Inspection Supervisor or Senior Inspector.

Education / Requirements:

• Turbine experience preferred
• Must have a minimum of 1 years diversified experience in maintenance
• Requires Powerplant License, preferred Airframe and Powerplant License
• Must be available full-time and work overtime when required
