The ideal A&P Mechanic candidate should have training or experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and performing both routine and complex maintenance on a variety of airframe types. Experience or training with piston engine (General Aviation) aircrafts is highly desired.
- Perform routine to advanced maintenance in accordance with manufacturer's specifications, and in compliance with FAA guidelines
- Keep accurate and up-to-date maintenance records
- Perform aircraft run-ups and taxis
- Comply with safety rules and procedures. Use protective equipment as required and be alert for unsafe conditions.
- Conduct tests and troubleshooting to ensure operational reliability
- Adhere to all FAA guidelines and company standards of quality
- May be occasionally required to travel to complete maintenance at other locations as needed
