Job Description:

General Work Schedule:
Full-Time, 5 days (40+ Hours) per week. Schedule will include weekends, as well as federal, state and
personal holidays


II. Required Certifications & Qualifications:
1. Valid Texas Driver License and ability to meet the requirements of driver insurability as established by the
insurance carrier required.
2. Completion of NATA Safety 1st online instruction within 30 days.
3. Must be at least 21 years of age and posses the right to work in the United States.
4. High school diploma or equivalent.
5. Read, write and speak English
6. Basic math skills.


III. Definition:
Works all ground operations at the Horseshoe Bay Resort Jet Center including but not limited to safely towing and fueling all types of aircraft.


IV. General Duties:
1. Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
2. Open and close Fixed Based Operation (FBO) and perform all duties.
3. Pre-planning of aircraft parking positions.
4. Be proficient at all FBO and Airport standard operating procedures and check list items.
5. Offload and load passenger baggage and supplies.
6. Transport clients and their possessions to and from aircraft.
7. Assist flight crews as required.
8. Able to perform all quality control functions as it relates to aircraft fuel loading and unloading.
9. Fueling all types of aircraft on a daily basis.
10. Perform daily and monthly fuel quality control inspections on aircraft refueling equipment.
11. Attach, disconnect, tow and reposition of aircraft with specialized equipment.
12. Guides aircraft during arrivals and departures, using hand signals and/or with wands.
13. Services aircraft with ground support equipment (GSE) as needed, including but not limited to:
a. AC/DC ground power unit for aircraft engine starts and power while on the ground.
b. Lavatory Service for aircraft as needed.
c. Air conditioning (heat/cool) for aircraft.
14. Communicates with supervisors and customer service representatives via portable radios.
15. Interfaces directly with customers, guest, Members and tenants to collect and then relay as necessary all aircraft handling information.
16. Provide aircraft with ice, coffee, catering, newspapers and other necessary services.
17. General ground keeping and security such as weeding, picking up trash on ramp and cleaning hangar floors and GSE.
18. Inspect runway and aircraft operating surfaces for foreign object (FOD) prevention.
19. Follow all safety policies and best practices.
20. Perform other assigned tasks as directed by supervisors.
21. Work day is not complete until the task at hand is finished or shift end is reached, whichever occurs last.

V. Employment Standards:
1. Must have neat and clean overall appearance.
2. Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments.
3. Be able to solve problems without immediate supervision.
4. Proficient at daily open and close-out paperwork, clerical and inventory tracking skills.
5. Communicate courteously with customers, line service and customer service representatives in person and over the phone.
6. Ability to work one-to-one basis.


VI. Physical & Mental Requirements:
1. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
2. Basic math skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
3. Prolonged exposure to loud noises, extreme temperatures, petroleum products, service chemicals.
4. The employee must be able to deploy, stand on, and stow ladders.
5. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to walk or stand for prolonged periods of time.
6. Sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; bend; push; pull; upward reaching; talk or hear.
7. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
8. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
9. This department requires footwear which is slip resistant, closed toe and heel, preferably with toe
protection, as part of their uniform.
