Job Description:
Mission:
The Flight Line Mechanical Technician will perform technical interventions to bring the H125 Aircraft into compliance. This role involves working on structural sub-assemblies, avionics, electrical, and mechanical systems, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic generation systems, and more. The technician will ensure that the aircraft is in full operational readiness before and after ground and flight tests.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare the Aircraft:
Ensure the aircraft is ready for both ground and flight activities.
Install or remove sub-assemblies of aircraft systems on the runway.
Set sub-assemblies of aircraft systems or structures in place on the runway.
System Maintenance & Compliance:
Perform preventive maintenance and re-compliance of the aircraft following ground or flight tests.
Diagnose and troubleshoot anomalies within the aircraft systems on the runway.
Correct or repair simple defects in aircraft structure or systems (electrical, avionics, mechanical).
Support during Flight Operations:
Provide technical assistance during fixed points as required.
Assist with aircraft reception post-flight.
Aid in engine operations, including engine start, shutdown, and engine runs.
Documentation & Input Handling:
Review and follow relevant technical documents such as the logbook, Airnav, workshop files, and operating instructions to ensure compliance.
Ensure proper record keeping of maintenance activities and interventions.
Skills & Qualifications:
Technical expertise in helicopter mechanical systems, specifically avionics, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair system defects efficiently.
Knowledge of aircraft maintenance practices and technical documents (logbooks, Airnav, operating instructions).
Experience in working on flight lines and understanding of aircraft assembly operations.
Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent maintenance needs during flight tests or ground operations.
Desired Experience:
Prior experience working on H125 or similar helicopter models is preferred.
Familiarity with aircraft system configurations, assembly, and integration procedures.
Previous experience in a similar flight line maintenance role is a plus.
