QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma
- A&P License desired or proof of specialized aircraft structural repair course completions.
- Must have experience with structures / sheet metal or composite repairs, alterations, installations, fabrication, and modifications
- Minimum of 5 years aircraft structural repair experience on fighter aircraft; F-16 structural repair experience preferred (other aircraft may be considered).
- 1-year full time field service in the last 3 years.
- Experience in reading, comprehending, and interpreting technical documents, including manuals, technical data, and blueprints.
- Knowledge of the assigned airframe, technical manuals, and publications.
- Working knowledge of assigned aircraft forms and records and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to communicate fluently in the English language
- Basic knowledge of various computer applications such as Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds to waist level and 30 pounds to shoulder height.
- Must be able to lift and carry parts, tooling, and other awkward items sometimes weighing up to 50 lbs, including walking up and down stairs, aircraft maintenance stands, and platforms
- Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday
- Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
- If a Contractor Field Team (CFT) is required, may be required to perform duties at remote and austere locations.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID and have had the booster.
