At StandardAero, we lead the way in aviation engine maintenance. Join our team as an Engines A&P Inspector, specializing in Honeywell TFE731 and HTF7000 turbofan engines and APUs. As a Return to Service Inspector, you will ensure the airworthiness of customer engines while meeting FAA regulations and delivering industry-leading service.
What to expect in this role:
- Inspect Honeywell TFE731 and HTF7000 engines, APUs, and components during maintenance, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives.
- Determine serviceability using precision tools, gauges, and non-destructive testing (if certified).
- Perform inspections (preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, and final) on repaired, maintained, or modified engines and APUs.
- Provide guidance and training to technicians, ensuring adherence to technical manuals, procedures, and FAA-approved data.
- Document inspection findings and approve Return to Service (RTS) for engines/APUs, certifying airworthiness.
- Conduct final reviews of work orders, ensuring all maintenance actions are accurately documented.
- Communicate with production teams to coordinate timely maintenance and customer satisfaction.
- Report conditions affecting airworthiness to the Quality Leader.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
- Experience inspecting turbofan engines according to FAA regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Honeywell products, ideally TFE731 and HTF7000 engines.
- Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) certification, experience or training.
- Ability to exceed customers expectations through inspired teamwork
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable A&P experience.
