We are seeking a skilled Aviation Technician specializing in A&P for Embraer Legacy 400/450 and 600/650. Candidates must have 2+ years of experience working on Business Jet Aircraft. This role involves performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspections to ensure the airworthiness of aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Remove and reinstall engines from turbofan and turboprop powered aircraft.
• Use sound judgment and technical aptitude to make decisions regarding maintenance, sequence, and techniques, troubleshooting, and discrepancy resolution.
• Perform operational checks and engine runs to ensure airworthiness prior to departure.
• Inspect aircraft in accordance with OEM Light or Heavy Maintenance Manuals.
• Evaluate removed components for serviceability and document discrepancies (squawks).
• Troubleshoot and repair all airframe systems as required (hydraulics, landing gear, etc.).
• Perform fuel tank sealing on aircraft as needed.
• Document all work accomplished (aka sign-off) in a clear, concise, and accurate manner.
• Accomplish Service Bulletins, Repair Letters, and Airworthiness Directives as required.
• Read and interpret maintenance manual procedures, blueprints, technical manuals, and schematic diagrams.
• Follow, promote, and continuously improve company policies and procedures.
• Analyze a variety of mechanical problems and determine the cause and best method of repair.
• Test operation and repair/adjust, as required: engines, engine controls and accessories, propellers and controls, landing gear, hydraulic systems and servicing, and flight controls, and adjust rigging as required.
• Check and repair fuel, oil, oxygen, heating, cooling, and pressurization systems.
• Utilize mechanics hand tools, precision measuring instruments, gauges, and calibration test equipment.
• Observe all safety, environmental, and general housekeeping rules and policies.
• Perform other duties as required by the department.

• Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an A&P Mechanic on Embraer aircraft
• Experience with Embraer Legacy 400/450 and 600/650
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing airframe systems
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, technical manuals, and schematic diagrams

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Experience with LearJet and Falcon aircraft
• Experience in phase maintenance and heavy maintenance

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
