Job Title: Aircraft Airworthiness & Compliance SpecialistPosition SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Aircraft Airworthiness & Compliance Specialist to support regulatory compliance and quality oversight within an aircraft maintenance environment. This role is responsible for ensuring aircraft meet all applicable Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) CAR 571 and 573 requirements and are properly certified for return to service following maintenance, repairs, or modifications. The position also provides day-to-day support to quality personnel and serves as a key point of contact for non-conformance resolution and customer delivery activities.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure ongoing compliance with TCCA CAR 571 and 573 regulations related to aircraft airworthiness
- Review maintenance activities and documentation to support return-to-service certification
- Assist quality inspectors with coordination of aircraft and engine calendar and hourly inspections
- Support inspection, repair, alteration, and conformity verification of aircraft parts and systems
- Oversee paint, backshop, and MRO-related quality activities
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and external customers to address quality issues and non-conformances
- Support customer aircraft delivery and acceptance processes
Required Qualifications- Valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license
- 10+ years of experience in aircraft, component, or systems quality inspection
- Strong understanding of aircraft airworthiness, maintenance regulations, and quality systems
