Job Title: Aircraft Structural TechnicianJob Description
The role involves working on the production floor within a dedicated cell responsible for assembling wings for aircraft. The primary duties include assembling sheet metal wings, riveting, drilling holes, countersinking, sealing, deburring, bonding, and dimpling components. Technicians are also required to read blueprints and complete work orders as tasks are fulfilled. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by supervisors as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assemble sheet metal wings using various techniques such as riveting, drilling, countersinking, sealing, deburring, bonding, and dimpling.
- Read and interpret blueprints to guide assembly processes.
- Complete work orders accurately and efficiently.
- Perform tasks as directed by supervisors, ensuring compliance with production requirements.
Essential Skills- 5+ years of Canadian experience or 10+ years of international experience in aircraft structures.
- Proficiency in aircraft production assembly, specifically wings, skins, spars, and stringers.
- Experience working in jigs and handling sheet metal.
- Ability to document work orders effectively.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- AME - S license.
- Experience with chemicals that prevent corrosion.

Work Environment
The position is located in Northeast Calgary, offering convenient access to nearby facilities. Work shifts include days from Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with potential for 2-3 additional hours each day, and afternoon shifts from Monday to Thursday, 3 PM to 1:30 AM, with potential work on Fridays. The environment supports a diverse range of operations, ensuring a dynamic and engaging workplace.
