Job Title: Aircraft MechanicJob DescriptionThis position involves performing heavy maintenance on ERJ 145s and CRJ 200s. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of ERJ 135 and 145 aircraft, including aircraft engines and components, in accordance with all specifications. Additionally, you will document maintenance procedures, including component damage, origin, and condition, and practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. The role also includes performing daily scheduled and non-scheduled inspections, maintenance, repairs, and alterations of aircraft, as well as troubleshooting defective aircraft systems and components effectively.
Responsibilities- Perform heavy maintenance on ERJ 145s and CRJ 200s.
- Maintain and repair aircraft, aircraft engines, and components according to specifications.
- Document maintenance procedures, including component damage, origin, and condition.
- Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes.
- Conduct daily scheduled and non-scheduled inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
- Troubleshoot defective aircraft systems and components.
Essential Skills- Experience in heavy maintenance on ERJ-135 and 145 aircraft.
- A&P license preferred; however, candidates with strong work history may be considered without it.
- 3+ years of experience on any type of aircraft.
- Proficiency in airframe and aircraft maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience on CRJ, Embraer, C-check, ERJ, heavy maintenance, or jet aircraft is beneficial.
- A&P license is advantageous but not mandatory.

Work EnvironmentWork in a non-climate-controlled aircraft hangar located in Smyrna, TN, about 20 miles from Nashville. Candidates should be open to working both 1st shift (5:30 AM - 4:00 PM) and 2nd shift (2:00 PM - 12:30 AM), with schedules from Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Smyrna, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
