Aircraft Mechanic

Job Description:

We are currently searching for a proficient Aircraft Mechanic to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting maintenance, preventative maintenance, and alterations within the scope of a certified technician. Additionally, the individual will have the opportunity to oversee the work to ensure proper execution and offer guidance when necessary. In certain instances, the Aircraft Mechanic may be assigned to accompany the aircraft on flights by Asia Pacific Airlines.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
• Conduct periodic service checks on aircraft
• Perform dismantling, overhauling, repairing, fabricating, assembling, welding, painting, and erecting of all aircraft parts, engines, radio equipment, instruments, electrical systems, heating and cooling systems, hydraulic systems, and machine tool work for aircraft and general building maintenance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Adhere to all applicable Federal Regulations, Company Policies, Procedures and Manuals
• Report any observed or perceived safety hazards or safety-related events
• Address directives set forth by Management personnel to ensure compliance with company standards.

Requirements & Qualifications:
• Must hold an appropriate (valid) Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
• Airworthiness Release
• Qualified to perform Fuel Audits
