We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of aircraft systems and components to ensure safety and compliance with aviation regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. We manage a fleet of 15 corporate jets, Hawkers and Citations, Gulfstreams and Falcons at Pittsburgh International Airport. Candidate will work on all fleet aircraft but have a specialization, experience, and training on Gulfstream jets.

Duties

  • Troubleshoot Gulfstream and Honeywell avionics
  • Manage software updates, troubleshooting, avionics updates
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on aircraft airframe systems.
  • Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters and Ammeters for electrical system diagnostics.
  • Experience on airframe and powerplant
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve mechanical issues effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Aircraft Mechanic or in a similar role within the aviation industry.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in the industry
  • Possess an Airframe and Powerplant license 
  • Strong knowledge of airframe systems, powerplant, avionics and aviation regulations.
  • Proficiency in soldering techniques for electrical components.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and duplicate faults
