Job Title: Aircraft MechanicJob Description
This role involves working on aircraft arriving from Ontario, conducting inspections, and performing maintenance tasks. Each aircraft requires approximately three weeks of focused work, handled one at a time. Once inspections are completed, the aircraft will undergo general line maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed inspections on aircraft arriving from Ontario, following a structured schedule of three weeks per airplane.
- Conduct general line maintenance after inspections are completed.
- Utilize troubleshooting skills for various aircraft, including Global Express, Bombardier Challenger, Cessna 550, and Cessna 560.
- Apply heavy maintenance knowledge and phase inspection techniques.
- Collaborate with an apprentice while performing maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Required Skills- Must have 5+ years of Canadian aircraft maintenance experience
- Experience with Global Express, Bombardier Challenger, Cessna 550 or Cessna 560.
- 2-3 years of experience with Citation aircraft.
- Proficiency in line maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of phase inspections and heavy maintenance.

Work Environment
The work environment involves more solo work with an apprentice, operating primarily from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential afternoon shifts based on aircraft operations. The schedule is flexible, offering a work pattern of 3/4 weeks on and two weeks off. Employees are provided with company accommodations, or suitable alternatives if necessary. A per diem is offered for days worked, with specific rates for travel outside of the local area. Transportation is facilitated through company vehicles, and expenses related to travel, including ferry costs, are covered.
