The Role
Our A&P Helicopter Engine Technician performs a range of tasks to ensure the operational airworthiness, safety and reliability of the engine and compliance with the FAA rules and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance and Inspection: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on various types of aircraft engines, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues with engines using testing equipment, analytical tools, and hands-on inspection. Identify mechanical, electrical, or electronic faults.
- Repair and Overhaul: Perform repairs, replacements, and overhauls of engine components, including fuel systems, ignition systems, and other related parts.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance performed, inspections, and any repairs made, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other aviation professionals, including pilots, engineers, and other technicians, to ensure efficient operations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
