Job Description
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of parts within our highly regulated industry. Your primary responsibility is to receive inspections, check lot numbers, verify certifications, and measure parts using various precision tools. This role demands attention to detail and a commitment to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Receive inspections and process parts with minimal paperwork.
- Verify required certifications and ensure they meet blueprint specifications.
- Measure parts using calipers, rules, micrometers, and radius gauges to ensure quality before taking them to inventory.
- Ensure dimensions and certifications align with blueprint requirements.
- Manage non-conformances and process necessary documents using Oracle.
- Inspect work-in-process parts to ensure they meet print and work order instructions.
- Calibrate gauges and test equipment according to calibration schedules.
Essential Skills
- Quality assurance and quality improvement skills.
- Familiarity with quality standards and quality assurance testing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Entry-level to 2-3 years of quality experience.
- Aerospace experience preferred but not required.
- Understanding of military rivet specifications is a plus.
- Experience with Oracle or ERP systems.
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred for internal promotion potential.
- Experience with calipers, rules, micrometers, and radius gauges.
- Recent military separation or recent technical school graduates are encouraged to apply.

Work Environment
You will be part of a team consisting of four Quality Technicians and one Quality Engineer, reporting to the Quality Manager. The work schedule typically involves four 10-hour days, with shifts potentially from Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, with additional voluntary hours available. The role involves rotation between Work in Process inspections and Receiving inspections, providing a dynamic work experience. Enjoy a structured work environment with set priorities established by the planning group.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesterfield, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
