This position involves troubleshooting and repairing business jets. You will perform functional checks and repair various aircraft systems. A

Responsibilities

• Adjust, align, and calibrate aircraft systems using hand tools, gauges, and test equipment.
• Examine and inspect engines or other components for cracks, breaks, or leaks.
• Disassemble and inspect parts for wear, warping, or other defects.
• Assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories using hand and power tools.
• Service and maintain aircraft systems by performing tasks such as flushing crankcase, cleaning screens, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes.
• Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures, functional components, and parts, such as wings and fuselage, rigging, and hydraulic units.
• Read and interpret manufacturers and airline’s maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
• Test engine operation using testing equipment to locate the source of malfunction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• A&P certification
• Experience with Gulfstream aircraft
• Minimum one year of A&P experience
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and service bulletins

• Corporate aviation experience, preferably with Gulfstream, Bombardier, or Falcon
• At least two years of corporate or private aviation experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Van Nuys, California.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
