Job Title: Aircraft TechnicianJob Description
As an Aircraft Technician, you will perform A checks, line maintenance, and servicing for various aircraft. You will be responsible for maintaining airworthiness, returning aircraft to service, and performing routine maintenance on Boeing 767 aircraft. This role involves a split shift schedule and may include opportunities for overtime. This position is contract-to-hire with the possibility of direct placement based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Perform A checks, line maintenance, and servicing of aircraft.
- Conduct on-call and scheduled maintenance work on various customers aircraft.
- Perform routine maintenance and airworthiness releases to return aircraft to service.
- Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, engines, and associated components.
- Meet deadlines and performance goals effectively.
Essential Skills- 18+ months of recent line maintenance experience with an emphasis on troubleshooting, daily, and turn checks.
- Experience with Boeing 767 aircraft.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant License (preferred).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Commercial experience, including regional jets.
- Military experience, including helicopters.
- Basic tools are required.

Work Environment
Work is performed at Phoenix Sky Harbor airport in downtown Phoenix. The work is conducted outside and not in a hangar. The split shift schedule includes mornings (Monday at 1 am, Tuesday-Friday at 5 am) and evenings (6 pm plane arrival).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $39.00/hr.
