Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven A&P Mechanic to join our team supporting heavy maintenance and MRO operations in Millington, Tennessee. This is a direct-hire opportunity with an organization known for its broad aviation capabilities, long-term stability, and commitment to professional growth. Candidates will work on a wide variety of commercial and corporate aircraft while contributing to high-quality, nose-to-tail maintenance programs.
Key Responsibilities
Heavy Maintenance & MRO Operations
- Perform heavy checks and comprehensive nose-to-tail aircraft maintenance.
- Support drop-in maintenance for customer aircraft as needed.
- Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs in accordance with FAA regulations, OEM manuals, and internal procedures.
- Work across multiple platforms including Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier (CRJ-200/700), and various corporate jets.
Component & System Servicing
- Remove, repair, replace, and reinstall aircraft components and systems.
- Utilize proper tooling, test equipment, and technical data to ensure accuracy and airworthiness.
- Document all maintenance actions clearly and thoroughly.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Follow all FAA, OSHA, and company safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
- Ensure all work meets airworthiness requirements and internal quality expectations.
Team Collaboration
- Coordinate with inspectors, leads, planners, and fellow technicians to support efficient aircraft turnaround.
- Communicate effectively regarding task status, parts needs, and technical issues.
- Contribute to a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Compensation & Schedule

Direct-hire position with annual percentage pay increases based on company performance and individual contribution

Multiple schedule options:
Sunday–Thursday
• 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM (+$0.50 shift diff.)
Tuesday–Saturday
• 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM (+$0.50 shift diff.)
Monday–Friday
• 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM (+$0.50 shift diff.)

Qualifications
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate
- Minimum 5 years of heavy maintenance experience
- Minimum 3 years of commercial aircraft experience
- Ability to work across multiple aircraft platforms (Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier, corporate jets)
- Must pass a 10-year background check and FAA-DOT drug screen
- Must provide own tools (no etching or shadowing required)
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
