We are seeking an experienced A&P-licensed Aircraft Maintenance Technician to support our diverse fleet at our KFXE home base. This position serves as the primary on-site maintenance resource and requires a mechanic who is comfortable working with a high level of autonomy, exercising sound judgment, and coordinating with leadership as needed. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, professionalism, and the ability to support an active flight schedule in a dynamic environment.

The mechanic will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and discrepancy resolution to ensure aircraft are returned to service safely and efficiently. The role includes coordinating with external vendors and supporting aircraft movements as required.

Essential Functions:

• Perform required maintenance, inspections, and servicing of aircraft mechanical systems

• Effectively troubleshooting aircraft systems

• Conduct hands-on inspections, repair, installation, troubleshooting, and functional testing of aircraft

• Complete work order sign-offs, shift turnovers, and required documentation accurately and on time

• Ensure all work meets applicable quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company procedures

• Properly identify, tag, and secure customer property and aircraft components

• Safely operate ground support equipment (tug, forklift, scissor lift, etc.) in accordance with company procedures

Additional Functions

• Properly use and maintain company-provided tools and equipment

• Assist with aircraft towing, repositioning, and hangar movements

• Support coordination with vendors and service providers as needed

• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• 10 years of aviation maintenance experience, including 4 years of relevant Gulfstream GIV experience (or equivalent)

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate

• Valid Driver’s License

• Valid Passport 

• Ability to travel within the U.S. and internationally to support AOG recovery

• Ability to work 1st shift (9 AM – 6 PM, Monday–Friday)

• Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, or extended hours to meet operational needs

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs routinely

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crawl, and climb for extended periods

• Must be able to climb ladders, work stands, and access elevated platforms safely

• Ability to work in confined spaces, including aircraft bays and compartments

• Must be able to work inside hangars and outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Ability to read, interpret, and work from technical manuals and diagrams

• Must have sufficient dexterity, vision, and hearing to perform aircraft maintenance tasks safely

• Ability to wear required PPE, including hearing protection, safety glasses, and respirators when needed
