Tasks
- Define and enforce the purchasing strategy and processes within Landing gears stream
- Identify material packages for tenders; execute material tenders including contract negotiations
- Perform pre-qualification, approval, regular evaluation and development of suppliers for direct and indirect spend
- Prepare and review contracts, bids, proposals and vendor agreements for legal correctness
- Identify cost reduction opportunities to achieve financial goals
- Analyses of spanet situation to determine present and future commercial conditions, material availability
- Handle tender and supplier matters in a compliant, fair and competent way, following LH Code of Conduct, Integrity and Competition Compliance Guidelines
- Functionally is part of AMS Strategic purchasing team also on Base Maintenance related topics

Requirements
- University degree in economics, logistics or procurement
- 4 years of proven relevant working experience
- Excellent skills in contract negotiations, including legal terminologies
- Good knowledge of logistics (physical logistics, transport, planning & purchasing) processes
- Experience in strategic purchasing is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in process design is an advantage
- Ability to work independently but also as team member
- Ability to generate new ideas and identify potential for improvement within his working area
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
