Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Coordinator who can accurately reference customer specifications and Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs) in the performance of their duties. The candidate will be responsible for the movement of parts from production to shipping tables, reading work orders, verifying proper counts and buy-offs, examining parts for defects, and using computers to set up part mark information per specifications.

Responsibilities

• Reference customer specifications and QAPs in performance of job duties.
• Move parts from production tables to shipping tables.
• Read work orders and verify proper count and buy-offs.
• Examine parts for defects.
• Use computer to set up part mark information per specifications.
• Operate video jet ink computer printer to perform part-mark function.
• Package/bundle parts per customer and Quality specifications.
• Move packaged/bundled parts from part mark area to source area.
• Operate saw and hammer (including air hammer) to build wooden crates for parts.
• Affix shipping labels on packed cartons per customer specifications.
• Insert items into containers using spacers, fillers, and protective padding.
• Examine outgoing shipments to ensure they meet specifications.

• High school diploma or high school equivalency preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in shipping and receiving preferred.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Highly organized and self-motivated.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to execute solutions.
• Understanding and abiding by all confidentiality regulations within the company.
• Computer literacy with knowledge of Windows.

• Forklift experience strongly preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment is non-climate controlled, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 2:30 PM.

$18/HR+

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00
