We are looking for a Quality Inspector to work in our site at Haltom City, TX location.
Work shift : First Shift (Monday - Thursday 4x10 , 5:00 am - 3:30 pm )
What You Will Do
Expected to work under general supervision from assigned leaders
Ability to adapt to frequent changes in work scope
Support the development of policy, processes, and a price control framework
Responsible to perform daily start up audit of books and gears that are in Inspection queue
Perform document review to verify all sign offs and inspections are complete to move forward to the next steps
Perform product inspection tasks per inspection procedures and document inspection activities on appropriate records
Document product discrepancies per defied process and procedures
Assist Quality Engineering in corrective action investigations and activities
Understand and interpret design data (blueprints, BOMs, etc.)
Understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and use appropriate inspection methods and equipment
Assist Quality Engineering in development of inspection methods and procedures
Capable of supporting multiple product lines and/or commodities
Perform product and quality system audits as required
Maintain applicable skills, knowledge, and certifications as required
Ability to prioritize numerous tasks to meet schedule needs.
Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications You Must Have
Qualifications We Prefer
Minimum 2 years of experience in Landing Gear assembly
Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation of technical data and quality procedures
Experience in AS9102 FAI creation and completion
Computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
Working knowledge of CATIA, SAP
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under stress.
Ability and flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Able to lift up to 35 pounds, employees will utilize a lift assist or buddy system if greater than 35 pounds.
