Power Aerospace Production — Material Coordinator (Rotating Shifts)PDS Tech Commercial, partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking an experienced Material Coordinator to support a high-visibility program in San Antonio, TX. Role SummaryThe Material Coordinator is responsible for managing the program tool crib and ensuring all tooling, parts, and materials are properly controlled, tracked, and available to meet production schedules. Your work directly supports quality, safety, and on-time delivery across a complex aerospace manufacturing environment.
What You’ll DoProcess, verify, store, order, deliver, track, and maintain tools, materials, and supplies per site and customer requirements
Receive, inspect, ship, and route materials using prescribed procedures
Read and interpret work orders, requisitions, specifications, and shipping/receiving documentation
Document material requisitions, picking instructions, and inventory transactions
Consolidate parts and assemble kits including tooling, hazardous materials, and pan stock kits
Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, hoists, tow motors, overhead cranes, and picker machinery
Operate barcode readers, inventory terminals, and computer systems to track and manage stock
Fabricate special shipping containers to meet customer and company specifications
Stock, issue, and store standard, specialized, and hazardous materials
Conduct inventory audits, identify discrepancies or damaged materials, and report findings
Analyze production schedules to ensure sufficient material availability
Investigate material shortages or discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions
Maintain compliance with safety, tool control, FOD, inventory control, and housekeeping requirements
Perform additional duties in support of program and operational needs

Location: San Antonio, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4th shift (rotating)
Pay Rate: $27.22 per hour
Physical & Work Environment RequirementsAbility to lift approximately 35 lbs; occasional two-person lifts over 50 lbs
Work on ladders, elevated platforms, and in confined spaces
Frequent standing, walking, reaching overhead, and material handling
Exposure to noise and industrial environments
Use required personal protective equipment
Ability to pass visual acuity and color perception tests
Read, write, and comprehend English
Ability to handle and dispose of hazardous materials
Obtain and maintain all required training and certifications
Required QualificationsAbility to obtain customer approval for access (subject to background and security requirements)
2–3 years of stockroom or tool crib experience
3+ years of experience with computerized inventory or warehouse management systems
1+ year of experience managing government property (acquisition, receiving, identification, movement, disposition, inventory, or related functions)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience operating warehouse and material-handling equipment
Availability to support rotating shifts
