The Machinist will support the manufacturing team by tracking and documenting machine setup times and run speeds. This role requires attention to detail, basic data entry, and math skills. The Machinist will follow parts through various production processes, record times in a provided template, and collaborate with staff to compile the data into Excel for analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Observe and document machine setup and run times across various production processes.
- Track parts through different stages of manufacturing to collect timing data.
- Enter collected data into provided templates accurately and organize it effectively.
- Work closely with other staff to compile timing data into Excel spreadsheets for reporting and analysis.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail when documenting times and processes.
- Communicate findings and any issues with the manufacturing team to support process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic proficiency in math and data entry.
- Familiarity with Excel or other spreadsheet software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus.
- Experience with machine operations or production processes is preferred.
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a manufacturing environment, requiring extended periods of walking or standing while documenting machine operations.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $22.00 to $30.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays.
