Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role in managing day-to-day logistics activities, including processing and outbound operations for tooling ranging from large to medium sizes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in logistics, processing, and outbound activities for large to medium-sized tooling.
• Manage inventory using SAP.
• Stage repairs and prepare kits for technicians.
• Conduct prechecks and minor quality inspections of incoming tools.
• Forecast tool purchases and maintain inventory levels.
• Communicate with the supply chain team to ensure workflow continuity.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in logistics management.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with SAP software.
• Supply chain knowledge.
• Excellent computer skills, including typing, email, and Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in logistics or warehouse management, including inventory, shipping, and receiving.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems.
• Strong computer proficiency.
• Sit-down forklift experience is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic warehouse environment alongside technicians in the back of the shop. The shift is from 7AM to 3:30PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sterling, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
