Your locationThe CTC GmbH is a 100 subsidiary of Airbus Operations GmbH. CTC is Germany&39;s leading centre for research and development in the field of design and production of large and complex CFRP components; with an international reputation as an expert for process development, series readiness and production optimisation.
The activities will focus on defining and implementing an efficient material flow tracking solution directly on the shopfloor. Detailed Material tracking is needed to improve sustainability, without a detailed understanding today it is not possible to identify major waste sources and people feel little to no responsibility for the amount of waste they create.
Together with us the successful candidate we will collaborate on detailing the concept for the material flow tracking. Further the candidate will define the hardware for measuring the weight of the material flows as well as the software and data storage solution for collecting information such as weight, material type and origin. Finally the candidate will implement and test the solution on the CTC shopfloor. Moreover the candidate will have the opportunity to present the solution and the status of implementation to Airbus stakeholders.

Your tasks and responsibilitiesResearch on material flow tracking
Evaluation of options and definition of a solution
Implementation of hardware and software
Supporting sustainability in aviation production
Desired skills and qualificationsEnrolled full-time student in the area of Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or comparable field of study.
Ideally, experience in programming and combining software solutions
First experience in defining and implementing practical solution is a plus
Ability to work independently and on your own responsibility and you have intrinsic motivation and interest in sustainability
Teamwork and communication skills are essential and to have entrepreneurial thinking and acting
Willingness to pass on own competences in a team and to exchange skills with each other
Language skills: Professional English and/or professional German skills
