Job Description:
Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a skilled Processor to join our team in Phoenix, AZ, near Sky Harbor Airport. This position requires experience in machine processing and heat plating. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality surface treatments and precision processing for our aerospace components.
Shift: 5:30am - 2PM, Monday - Friday
Pay rate: $21/HR, $31.50
Key Responsibilities
• Implement production procedures to enhance existing manufacturing processes.
• Conduct research on new and existing technologies and procedures.
• Apply commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
-Operate and maintain processing and plating equipment
-Perform heat treatment and thermal processing on metal components
-Ensure precision in surface finishing and adherence to strict tolerances
-Utilize metrology tools such as calipers and micrometers for accurate measurements
-Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment
-Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and quality standards
Basic Qualifications:
-High School diploma or GED equivalent
-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
-Basic computer skills
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience in machine processing, heat treatment, and metal plating
-Knowledge of electroplating and surface finishing techniques
-Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
-Ability to use precision measuring equipment
-Strong attention to detail and quality control
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
