The Quality Inspector will perform receipt and evaluation inspections of complex components and assemblies using pre-set inspection plans. The Inspector will ensure aircraft parts are certified under FAA/EASA/TCCA Part 21 specifications before shipping them to customers using SAP software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct material inspections of aircraft parts and assemblies.
• Perform visual inspections and use tools like calipers and micrometers for accurate evaluations.
• Maintain and record traceability documentation to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Certify parts under FAA/EASA/TCCA Part 21 specifications.
• Utilize SAP software for inspection and certification processes.

• 1-3 years of maintenance experience and knowledge of aircraft operations, systems, and practices.
• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience under FAA FAR Part 21, EASA Part 21G TCCA Part 21, or aviation distributor.
• Familiarity with aerospace quality control and quality assurance systems.
• Familiarity with AS9100 / AS9110 / AS9120 standards.
• Experience with First Article Inspection.
• Proficiency in using tools like calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges.
• Valid passport and drivers license.
• US citizenship is required.
• Computer skills, particularly with SAP software.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Familiarization with aerospace quality control and quality assurance systems.
• Familiarization with AS9100 / AS9110 / AS9120.
• Familiarization with First Article Inspection.
• Familiarization with the use of tooling to make airworthiness determinations such as Calipers, micrometers, depth gages.

Work Environment

This position is located minutes away from the Washington Dulles International Airport, approximately 30 miles from the U.S. Capitol. The facility serves as a major parts distribution hub in the Americas, operating 24/7 with an Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support desk and Quality Assurance operations. The 20,000-square-foot warehouse features the latest technology aimed at increasing productivity. There are four openings on the first shift, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 3 PM or 7 AM to 4 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
