Job Title: Aircraft Assembler
Job DescriptionJoin a leading global defense and aerospace company at our state-of-the-art facility in Pinellas Park, FL, where we manufacture canopies for F-16 and F-35 fighter jets. As an Aircraft Assembler, you will perform various operations to manufacture, assemble, and refurbish aircraft parts and structures including F-16 canopies, F-35 canopies, and C-130 sub-assembly components.
Responsibilities
- Manufacture, assemble, and refurbish aircraft parts and structures such as canopies and sub-assembly components.
- Use controlled tooling and build to print assemblies.
- Align parts on jigs using templates and fixtures.
- Perform part-fitting operations like filing, sawing, burring, crimping, trimming, framing, drilling, reaming, riveting, countersinking, and cold working.
- Measure parts with various methods to verify dimensions.
- Modify incomplete and complete assemblies to incorporate changes and perform repairs.
- Work from blueprint diagrams, drawings, specifications, and shop orders.
Essential Skills- Proficiency in fabrication, hand tools, and sheet metal work.
- Knowledge of aviation assembly processes.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Competence in using measurement tools and precision drilling.
- Ability to read and interpret technical data.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Mathematical skills to perform or understand calculations.
- Competence in using computers and other systems for data manipulation.
- Previous experience as an Assembler and/or Aircraft Structures Mechanic is preferred.
- Experience with aircraft structures on F-16, C-130, and F-35 is a bonus.

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled production facility. Choose between 1st shift from Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM EST, or 2nd shift from Monday to Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM EST.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pinellas Park, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
