How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The Industrial Hygiene Graduate Intern will assist Delta’s Manager of Environmental Health and Industrial Hygiene with occupational air sampling, noise monitoring, heat stress evaluation, water testing, ergonomic evaluations, and other assessments of the workplace and passenger environment.The Graduate Interns work schedule will be full-time during the Summer 2026 semester and will be able to work part-time during the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters during the school year.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Qualified candidate must be enrolled as a current/active student in an accredited graduate program at a college and/or universityCandidate must have completed the first year of graduate program Candidate must be willing to commit to the duration of the internship which may last up to 12 months or longerCandidate must be willing to work full-time during the Summer 2026 semester and will be able to work part-time during the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters during the school yearMust have flexibility to work occasional nights, early mornings, or weekends. Some overnight travel requiredMust be able to work onsite in our Atlanta, GA office for the duration of the internshipAble to travel for company business up to 20Work with minimal supervision and directionBalance multiple assignmentsHandle confidential material appropriatelyDemonstrate strong technical written and oral communication skillsInteract with internal and external customers of all levelsDemonstrate a working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word and Excel, and have experience with data managementFunction effectively in high pressure situationsComfortable with extensive work travelSelf-starterWorking as a Co-op/Intern does not guarantee a full-time opportunity at Delta Air Lines upon graduation.
