Develops, designs, implements and maintains safety and regulatory training curricula. Provides support of Inflight Training Learning Management System (LMS) and Training Management System (TMS).

Develop, design, implement and revise the Inflight safety and regulatory training courseware to ensure compliance with training manuals, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and other government regulations
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary to perform this job.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
● Bachelor’s Degree/Certification in Education, Instructional Design, or related field/equivalent combination of education and experience
● At least 3 years of demonstrated instructional curriculum content development and assessment experience
● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
● Ability to manage multiple projects and activities independently and work in a team environment
● 3 years’ experience with learning management systems (LMS) and developing computer-based training (CBT) modules
● Intermediate experience using Articulate/Storyline, Rise or other courseware packaging programs
● Basic experience in graphic design
● Excellent problem solving, decision making, written and oral communication skills
● Working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
● 3 years of Aviation industry experience and working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
● Understanding and working knowledge of FAA Advanced Qualification Programs
● Advanced experience in graphic design
● Advanced experience using Articulate/Storyline, Rise or other courseware packaging programs.
● 2 years experience in applying adult learning theories and techniques
● Familiar with SumTotal Learning Management System
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
REASONING/PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Makes day-to-day decisions used to support strategic direction. Decisions often require some thought and are somewhat structured. Decisions tend to be short-term and usually moderate cost.
