Job Description:
The Business Manager in Program Finance for Title III will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to the program team. This role involves overseeing the financial health of the Title III program, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. Presentation and discussion with LHX executives and government customers is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance or accounting, with experience in government contracting and program management.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and maintain program budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
- Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, providing insights and recommendations to program managers and senior leadership.
- Prepare weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with program managers to ensure that financial objectives align with program milestones and deliverables.
- Prepare semi-monthly invoicing supporting documentation and collaborate with government counterparts to facilitate the review and approval of invoices.
- Monitor program funding and expenditures, ensuring compliance with company policies, cooperative agreement, and government regulations.
- Support pricing and proposal efforts for contract modifications.
- Lead the program finance function, providing guidance to Control Account Managers and Program Management Office staff.
- Participate in cross-functional team to achieve program objectives, drive process improvements, and realize operational efficiencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
